Seungwon (Simon) Lee is a composer born in Korea and raised in Colorado. A classically trained pianist and violist, Simon holds a Master of Music in Screen Scoring from the University of Southern California and a BA in Economics, with minors in Music Production and Game Audio.

Simon’s work spans film, animation, and video games. In 2023, he led the audio direction—composition, sound design, and implementation—for a successful indie mobile game that garnered over 57,000 downloads, collaborating closely with directors and developers to execute the creative vision. His orchestral animation scoring earned an animated short film Best Animation at SCA First Look 2024, and most recently, he composed and recorded original big band music for a multi-award-winning game recognized by the Collegiate Games Challenge and Game Devs of Color Expo.

Simon has studied under prominent composers such as Patrick Kirst (The Kissing Booth), Lolita Ritmanis (Justice League vs. The Fatal Five), Eric Schmidt, Peter Golub, Pete Anthony, and has practiced conducting under Larry Livingston and GRAMMY®-winning conductor Amy Andersson. With his diverse training and commitment to high-quality music for media, Simon continues to bring depth and innovation to every project.
